My name is Sandy Liu, and in 2009 I was selected to be the General Manager of American-based JP Communications (www.TopTenWholesale.com) newest office in Hangzhou, China. Ever since I had a chance to learn and implement transfer website building in 1997, I have been involved in this industry through its many changes over the past 10 years. To put it simply; I like using the Internet, and I think there are more technical innovations that need to be made in the years to come. I’ve chosen to dedicate my future to this industry.
In the area of e-commerce, Sandy hails from her early post-university days with www.etransfar.com, a well-known Logistics and Chemical enterprise in Zhejiang Province. Not long after those formative first two years, in 1999 she took a chance as she was brought aboard a small fledgling company with big dreams of dominating Internet-based commerce. Working from Mr. Isaac Mao’s house as the 47th employee, Sandy took part in leading the charge to develop this company — named Alibaba.com — and to promote its growth as China’s most revered and respected commercial trade site, which currently employs over 300,000. After five years of spearheading the design and implementation of Alibaba’s core feature set, example trade leads, product showroom, and company profile, she decided to make a break from the industry giant and start her own private company in 2004. Anyone who considers themselves a key player in the industry should be watching to see where Sandy Liu’s enormous experience in B2B e-commerce, Product Management, and Online Marketing takes her in the future.
